PURPOSE: The purpose of the Volunteer Program is to place guest volunteers in Cherokee Communities, to partner with host community members, and to share in the revitalization of local communities. By virtue of working together the program provides an opportunity for Cherokee communities to share the Cherokee culture through the language, history, traditions, and spirituality.
MISSION: To empower Cherokee community members to participate in self-identified projects while building new and lasting relationships with individuals from other regions of the United States.
